1. Tata Global Beverages: Tata Coffee
(TCL) said it has jointly developed an instant coffee product for the domestic
market with its holding company Tata Global Beverages (TGBL).
2. YES Bank: Private sector lender YES Bank has
invoked 3.02 per cent stake of United Breweries, pledged by McDowell Holdings,
a unit of Vijay Mallya-led UB Group, by selling shares worth Rs 778 crore.
3. Emami Paper Mills: Emami Paper Mills, the
country's largest newsprint manufacturer, has decided to increase investment in
paperboards to Rs 2,000 crore in the next three years to strengthen its
diversification to the high-margin segment.
4. Railways stocks: India is expected to spend a
whopping $95 billion (over Rs 6.34 lakh crore) on ramping up its rail infrastructure,
a step that will help in increasing the country's manufacturing
competitiveness, a report says.
5. Jindal Stainless: Jindal Stainless has no plans
to raise capital through listing of its subsidiaries before March 2018, as the
country's largest stainless steel maker is currently concentrating on financial
and operational restructuring.
6. RIL: Reliance Industries is facing a 40 per
cent cut in the marketing margin it charges on selling its KG-D6 gas to
fertilizer and LPG plants after the government notified a ceiling of Rs 200 per
thousand standard cubic meters (scm).
7. Amtek Auto: The troubled auto component maker Amtek
Auto said it has suffered a consolidated net loss of Rs 987 crore for the year
ended September against a net profit of Rs 848.21 crore last year.
8. Cipla: Drug major CIPLA is exploring all
legal options in the wake of Delhi High Court's ruling that it has infringed
Swiss drug major Hoffman-La Roche's patent on lung cancer drug erlotinib
hydrochloride sold under Tarceva.
9. Nestle India: Nestle India, which is facing a fresh
controversy over its pasta products after Maggi noodles, today questioned the
validity of lab test done by the UP government saying it was neither "NABL
neither accredited “nor” notified by FSSAI".
10.Lux Industries: Hosiery maker Lux Industries'
shares will list on the National Stock Exchange on Monday. Currently, the
company's shares are listed on the Calcutta and Ahmedabad stock exchanges.
